An 18-year-old Westhampton Beach High School graduate was killed in a car accident on Sunday night when his 17-year-old friend—who was charged with DWI—lost control of his car, smashing it into a parked BMW in East Quogue.
Cameron Nicholls of Quiogue—who sources said did not attend Sunday afternoon’s graduation ceremony at the high school—was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident on Lewis Road in East Quogue, according to Southampton Town Police.
“It is a terrible tragedy and our thoughts are with the families during this difficult time,” said Michael Radday, the Assistant Superintendent for Personnel and Instruction for the Westhampton Beach School District. “Counselors are available at our high school, even though school is closed.” ….MORE
