School bus driver Amini Kellum

Rochester Police charged a school bus driver with DWI after she crashed her bus on Mt. Read Boulevard. It happened at a gas station Wednesday morning after police say she dropped off some Brighton Central School students. The driver was arraigned Thursday morning.

Amini Kellum pleaded not guilty in Rochester City Court.  Police say she was drunk while she was driving her school bus Wednesday morning, a bus that had students on it just before a minor crash.

Kellum tells us a different story about what happened.
Police say they were called to Mt. Read Blvd. for a crash involving a school bus.  That’s where they found Kellum, 35, who had pulled into the gas station and hit a railing that protects the gas pumps.

According to police reports, another bus driver who was at the scene smelled alcohol coming from Kellum.  The investigating police officer   ….MORE
