A Plymouth police officer is in trouble with the law after his arrest in Beaufort County last week.
Vernon Lane is facing five charges after being stopped in a vehicle last Tuesday in Washington. Beaufort County deputies charged the officer with DWI, transporting after consuming, carrying a concealed weapon, transporting spirits with liquor, and beer drinking by driver.   …..MORE
