A Bessemer City man picked up a DWI charge just 19 days after being convicted of the same offense.
Joseph Kyle Walker, 28, of 358 Joe Cloninger Road was driving drunk at 2:45 a.m. Sunday on Union Road near Garrison Boulevard, according to Highway Patrol Trooper K.L. Cornwell.
Walker was using both lanes of traffic as he traveled south in his 2006 Pontiac and he had his left turn signal on, Cornwell wrote in his warrant affidavit. He also had red watery eyes, slurred speech and a strong odor of alcohol on his breath. ….MORE
