A Kings Mountain driver in a weekend fatal crash faces multiple new charges once he’s released from the hospital, according to a district attorney.
Kevin Kidd, 24, had been drinking when he crossed the center line on Dallas-Cherryville Highway and collided with a pickup truck Friday night, according to the N.C. Highway Patrol.
Kidd was first charged with DWI following the crash that killed his passenger, 33-year-old Lora Crawford White of the Shelby area.
Gaston County District Attorney Locke Bell said he met with investigators Monday afternoon and added seven additional charges.
