North Carolina: pedestrian never saw Easter sunrise, was killed by DWI driver in wee hours

 A Rockingham woman has been charged with DWI after an accident that left a pedestrian dead during the early morning hours of Easter Sunday. Lisa Barbare, 48, of Arbor Road, Rockingham, may face more charges after city police reconstruct the accident, which took place near the intersection of County Home Road and Long Drive. Michael Wetherford, 37, of Rockingham, was struck by Barbare’s four-door 2005 Buick Sedan, and was pronounced dead at Richmond Memorial a short time later. ….MORE
