BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC  – A deputy with the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office was taken to the hospital early Thursday morning to be treated for minor injuries after a multi-car accident near the Brunswick/Columbus County border.
Authorities say three vehicles were involved in the accident that happened around 11:45 Wednesday night just west of Old Fayetteville Road, towards Columbus County.
Deputy Jeremy Ferguson and Jeremy Borowski both responded to a careless and reckless call in the area.
According to Highway Patrol, William Williamson of Leland was driving eastbound on the westbound lane of 74/76. ….MORE
