A Fostoria man is awaiting sentencing after he was found guilty Wednesday of aggravated vehicular homicide in connection to the death of 9-year-old
Mavin Hamilton last year.
George R. Tucker, 74, appeared in Seneca County Common Pleas Court Judge Michael Kelbley’s courtroom Wednesday, where he waived an indictment and consented to go forward on a bill of information charging him with aggravated vehicular homicide, a third-degree felony.
Tucker then entered a written plea of guilty, according to court documents.
Nov. 15, Tucker had been operating a pickup truck on Columbus Avenue that struck Hamilton. The boy died two days later at The Toledo Hospital.
