Oklahoma: Police say drunk at wheel of pickup hit tractor-trailer

TONKAWA, Okla. —
Oklahoma troopers said a drunken pickup truck driver struck a semi before hitting a construction sign and rolling over on a Kay County highway on Tuesday.
The collision happened just before 2 p.m. on U.S. 60 near 93 Street, about 4 miles west of Tonkawa. Troopers said a 1992 Chevrolet pickup truck driven by Michael Dwayne Belcher, 36, of Lamont, was taken to Blackwell Hospital and then airlifted to Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kan., in serious condition after the collision. He had suffered head, arm, leg and trunk internal injuries, troopers said.  ….MORE
