Oregon: Police say booze involved in fatal wreck where driver fled but was tracked down…charges pending

Portland Police Major Crash Team investigators have identified the persons involved in the early morning crash on Northeast Portland Highway near Northeast Cully Boulevard. The preliminary investigation revealed that 38-year-old Jesse Ream was driving a Chevy Suburban northbound on Northeast Cully Boulevard when he struck a Kia Sportage traveling westbound on Northeast Portland Highway driven by 32-year-old Tessa Conradi. Conradi died at the scene. 27-year-old Shorona Rowland and 34-year-old Charlotte Mose were in the vehicle driven by Ream. Both women were transported to area hospitals with non-life threatening injuries.
Ream initially ran from the crash but was located and taken into custody by officers a few blocks away. Police believe speed and alcohol was a factor in this crash. Traffic Officers continue to investigate and have not released any charges against Ream.
