Pennsylvania: Agustin Macias-Marquez charged in second DWI death when lingering patient died

CHAMBERSBURG – Additional charges have been filed in the case of a Waynesboro man involved in a fatal crash on Dec. 31 after a second person passed away.
Agustin Macias-Marquez, 27, Waynesboro, is also being charged with homicide by vehicle and homicide by vehicle while driving under the influence, according to police.
The additional charges were filed Jan. 17 after Madison Perry, no age or address given, died at York Hospital from injuries he suffered as a result of the accident, police said.
The new charges were bound over together with the original charges from the preliminary hearing, said Franklin County District Attorney Matt Fogal.
Macias-Marquez was originally charged with homicide by vehicle, homicide by vehicle while DUI, two counts of aggravated assault while DUI, DUI with a high level of alcohol, and a stop sign violation. ….MORE
