Two Harrisburg Senators baseball players got into trouble with the law hours after the team clinched its second consecutive playoff spot.
State police in Harrisburg said Archie Gilbert recklessly drove his Range Rover SUV through an active construction zone on Route 581 in Cumberland County, and nearly struck nine workers as he entered a closed section of the highway early Thursday.
Gilbert, 28, was stopped in Lower Allen Township at around 2 a.m. and eventually was arrested for drunken driving, nine counts of reckless endangerment, careless driving and reckless driving. He was sent to the county prison and released after posting $500 cash bail. ….MORE
