A woman is in custody, facing charges of driving under the influence, after police say she hit a 14 year-old girl who was walking with a friend Wednesday night.
The accident happened just after 9pm Wednesday night, in the Riverside section of East Providence, on Crescent View Avenue. The girl was walking with a friend, when she was hit by the car, driven by 49 year-old Susan Benedetti. ….MORE
