At 2:41 AM, Troopers Arrested Susan Rodriguez, age 56, of 286 Sutton Avenue, East Providence, RI for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and/or Drugs, BAC Unknown (First Offense) and 2.) Refusal to submit to a chemical test. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle accident on Route 95 in the City of Providence. The subject was transported to State Police Headquarters, processed, and held overnight pending a morning arraignment.

Cumberland Man Faces Second DUI Arrest After Two People Seriously Injured in I-95 Crash

PROVIDENCE, RI – A Cumberland man was arrested for drunk driving early today after his car crashed into the median on Interstate 95 in Providence, causing it to roll over. Two passengers were seriously injured, including one who was ejected from the vehicle.

Rhode Island State Police Captain John Allen identified the driver as Adam Krajanowski, 25, of 9 Standring St., Cumberland. Krajanowski was charged with driving under the influence causing serious bodily injury, which is a felony; driving under the influence – second offense, and refusal to submit to a chemical test.

The rear-seat passenger, a 23-year-old North Providence man, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was ejected from the car, Captain Allen said. He and a front-seat passenger, a 25-year-old Providence man, were taken to Rhode Island Hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries, he said. The victims’ names were not released.

Captain Allen said the crash occurred about 1:45 a.m. in the southbound high-speed lane of Interstate 95, near the Atwells Avenue exit. Krajanowski lost control of the car, as it struck the median and rolled over. He was taken into custody and held overnight, pending arraignment in District Court today.

On Feb. 12, 2017, At 3:03 AM, Troopers arrested Ian Sutcliffe, age 25, of 6 Jodie Beth Drive, East Greenwich, Rhode Island for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor/Drugs-B.A.C. Unknown and 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 in the City of Warwick. Subject was transported to the Wickford Barracks where he was processed and held overnight pending morning arraignment.
