Lincoln Woods Barracks
At 11:53 AM on Jan. 1, 2020, Troopers arrested John Mendonca, age 50, of 45 Dover Street, Apartment #3, Fall River, Massachusetts for Driving Under the Influence of Liquor and/or Drugs- First Offense – BAC .10 or Greater (Phase 1- .114), (Phase 2- .106). The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 37 in the City of Warwick. The subject was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released into the custody of a responsible adult.
At 1:25 AM troopers arrested Krisel Pereira, age 47, of 48 McKinley Street, Providence, RI for Driving Under the Influence of Liquor and/or Drugs – First Offense – B.A.C. 0.10 or Greater (Phase 1- .111)(Phase 2- .103). The arrest was the result of Troopers investigating a motor vehicle accident on Route 10 in the City of Providence. Pereira was transported to the Lincoln Barracks where she was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released into the custody of a responsible adult.
At 2:15 AM troopers arrested David Scorpio, age, 29, of 21 Hollyhook Drive, Cranston, Rhode Island for 1.) Driving while under the influence of intoxicating liquor or drugs, First Offense-BAC Unknown 2.) Refusal to submit to a chemical test. this arrest was a result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 in the City of Cranston. Scorpio was transported to the Lincoln Barracks where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released into the custody of a responsible adult.
At 2:01 AM, troopers assigned to the Traffic Safety Unit arrested Joshua Pirnie, age 30, of 474 Branch Ave Apt. 1, Providence, Rhode Island for 1.) Driving while under the influence of intoxicating liquor or drugs, First Offense – BAC Unknown 2.) Refusal to submit to a chemical test. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 37 in the City of Warwick. The subject was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks and held overnight pending morning arraignment.
At 12:51 AM, Troopers arrested Manuel E. Peguero Jr., age 22, of 450 Providence Street, Apartment 11, West Warwick, Rhode Island for 1) Driving Under the Influence of Liquor-First Offense/ BAC Unknown and 2) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test- First Offense. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on the Airport Connector, in the City of Warwick. The subject was transported to the Wickford Barracks where he was processed and held overnight pending morning arraignment by a Justice of the Peace.
At 1:15 AM, Troopers arrested Michael F. Bucci, age 32, of 323 Williams Street, Providence, Rhode Island, for Driving Under the Influence of Liquor-First Offense/ BAC .1-.15% BAC (Phase I: .149% BAC, Phase II: .149% BAC). The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop Division Road, in the Town of East Greenwich. The subject was transported to the Wickford Barracks where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released into the custody of a responsible third party.
At 2:06 AM, Troopers arrested Amrit Gurung, age 28, of 21 Trenton Street, Apartment 7, Pawtucket, Rhode Island, for Driving Under the Influence of Liquor- First Offense/ BAC .15% BAC or Greater (Phase I: .210% BAC, Phase II: .202% BAC). The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 North, in the City of Warwick. The subject was transported to the Wickford Barracks where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released into the custody of a responsible third party.
