On January 9, 2025, at 2:50 PM, Troopers arrested Joseph Souza, age 60, of 75 Harley Street, Apartment A, West Warwick, Rhode Island for a Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Review of Pay, on the original charge of Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor, originating out of the West Warwick Police Department. This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Bald Hill Road in the City of Warwick. The subject was transported to the State Police – Wickford Barracks, where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released from custody.

At 10:33 PM, Troopers arrested Bryan Rizzuto, age 52, of 35 Ash Street, Wakefield, Rhode Island, for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor – .15 or Greater 1st Offense (Phase I: 0.410% and Phase II: 0.391%). This arrest was a result of Troopers investigating a disabled motor vehicle in the lane of travel on Route 95 in the City of Warwick. Mr. Rizzuto was transported to the Wickford Barracks, where he was processed and held overnight pending morning arraignment at Third Division District Court.

Hope Valley Barracks
On Friday, January 3, 2025, at 5:42 PM, Troopers arrested Robert J. Silva, 67, of 620 Gardiner Road, Exeter, Rhode Island, for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Liquor – BAC .15 or Greater – First Offense (Phase I: 0.210% & Phase II: 0.202%), 2.) Duty to Stop in Accident Resulting in Damage to Vehicle. The result was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Gardiner Road in the Town of Exeter. The subject was transported to the State Police – Hope Valley Barracks, where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released with a future Fourth District Court date.
