Aaron Collier charged with DUI in killing his passenger in crash; neither were wearing helmets on motorcycle
According to the S.C. Highway Patrol, Collier was driving the motorcycle west on Edwards Road when he lost control, ran off the right side of the road and hit a ditch.
A passenger, who was not wearing a helmet, was thrown from the bike and died at the scene.
The Greenville County Coroner’s Office identified the passenger as Sandy Lynn Shook, 40, of Pelzer.

Sandy Lynn Shook, 40 died on Saturday, July 22, 2017. A native of New London, Ohio, Mrs. Shook was the daughter of Debra O’Connor and the late Fred David Sayers.
Mrs. Shook was the manager of Tony’s pizza and enjoyed shooting pool and riding motorcycles.
Leaving behind with memories to cherish are two sons, William Dean (Cotton) Shook III and Benjamin Shook; a daughter, Katelynn Marie Shook; a brother, Christopher Sayers; a step brother, Clint Johnson; a step sister, Tera Johnson Terry; and step-fathers, Michael Hedderly and Terry Johnson.
