The Spartanburg County Coroner’s office released the identity of the motorcyclist who was killed Friday when he was struck by a truck on Highway 221 in Chesnee.
Larry Wayne Weaver, 51, was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to the S.C. Highway Patrol, Weaver was headed south at 10:57 p.m. near Ware Road when he slowed to make a right turn. He was rear-ended by a 1993 GMC pickup truck driven by Brian Oneil Robinson, 21, of 137 Gail Drive, Forest City, N.C…..MORE
