South Carolina: Clifford Elliott Maxwell has been arrested and jailed on felony DUI for the death of a motorist on Rt. 17 in Ravenel

Charleston County Sheriff reports that Clifford Elliott Maxwell has been arrested and held without bond in the traffic fatality which took place on Highway 17 in Ravenel.

The crash occurred just after 8 pm when Charles County Deputies were dispatched to the scene of a two-car collision on southbound Savanah Highway in Ravenel.

Police say that the driver of one vehicle died at the scene. The driver of the other vehicle was
transported to a hospital with serious injuries and later was jailed without bond in the Charleston County Jail. 

Clifford Elliott Maxwell has been charged with Felony DUI death.
