A Kershaw Co. deputy has been fired following a crash and DUI arrest.

According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, Mitchell Debruhl was arrested on July 4.

Troopers say Debruhl was driving a 1993 Ford SUV on Carl Horton Road about 10 miles north of Camden when the SUV ran off the right side of the road.  Debruhl overcorrected and the SUV traveled off the left side of the road, hit a ditch and overturned, according to the Highway Patrol. …..MORE
