2013-08-18 — An 18-year-old high school student accused of causing a deadly wreck while he was under the influence of multiple drugs and alcohol was given a $50,000 bond during a hearing on Friday.
As a condition of his bond, Daniel Woosley’s license will be suspended for 60 days. He is required to wear an ankle monitor and be drug tested, Judge James Ashmore ruled.
Woosley, a Greer High School student, wiped tears from his face as he listened to 7th Circuit Solicitor Barry Barnette present the case against him during the hearing. Woosley is accused of causing the death of 40-year-old Daniel Nelson of Boiling Springs in a wreck last summer on Highway 101 in Greer.
