SOUTH CAROLINA: ‘Wrong-Way’ Rodney Gadson’s 4th arrest of 2020 is for DUI when he hit SC Highway Patrol cruiser head-on; also busted for drugs, weapon and domestic violence during his Year of the Tiger

CHARLESTON, S.C. – It has been quite a year for Rodney Terrel Gadson as he racked up four arrests in Charleston County during 2020. The most recent arrest took place on December 27, 2020, when he was charged with driving under the influence following his crash into a South Carolina Highway Patrol cruiser.

Live5News reported that Capt. Roger Antonio, the Public Information Officer for Charleston Police, said that Gadson was driving east in the westbound lanes near Cosgrove Avenue just after 5 a.m. Sunday and collided head-on into the trooper’s vehicle.

EMS took Gadson and the two troopers inside the vehicle to an area hospital and all have since been released, Antonio said.

Gadson was also arrested on charges of criminal domestic violence, second offense, on August 4, 2020. A warrant was issued on charges filed by the criminal domestic violence, and a court date is pending.

Gadson has been leading the thug life for quite a while with drug and weapons arrests going back to 2016, according to arrest records in Charleston County.
