A Woodruff volunteer firefighter has been suspended after he was charged early Sunday with driving under the influence.
Woodruff Fire Department Chief Wade Godfrey confirmed the suspension of Jonathan Rhett Outz, 22, of 1149 Cooper Bridge Road, Woodruff.
According to online jail records, Outz was booked into the Spartanburg County Detention Facility about 6:30 a.m., and released on a $3,000 bond about four hours later. He has been charged by the S.C. Highway Patrol with DUI and child endangerment.
