Georgia: Chattooga Sheriff Mark Schrader fired Deputy Donald Starkey following DUI crash – As of now he is charged with failure to maintain a single lane, failure to notify owner upon striking a fixed object and DUI. Donald’s employment with the Sheriff’s Office has been terminated. He was a very good deputy and shift supervisor. He was very dependable and a hard worker.

Georgia: Gwinnett Deputy Anthony Pesaresi charged with DUI with his kid in car; another Gwinett Deputy rear-ended by DUI driver

A Gwinnett County sheriff’s deputy was arrested on DUI and child endangerment charges following a crash Thursday afternoon while he was off duty.

According to Gwinnett police, Dep. Anthony C. Pesaresi of Auburn was driving a 2013 Ford Edge down Braselton Highway in Dacula around 5:30 p.m. when a 2014 Nissan Pathfinder turned in front of him off Hog Mountain Church Road. The Ford then hit the Nissan in the rear.
