Georgia: Kidistz Temesgen roared down highway on DUI hell-ride; killed one, injured deputy

CONYERS — The Decatur woman accused of causing a fatal car crash when fleeing from deputies Thursday night has been charged with vehicular homicide and DUI.

Kidistz Temesgen, 39, of 3035 Pasadena Drive, has been charged by the Georgia State Patrol with DUI, homicide by vehicle in the first degree, serious injury by vehicle, felony fleeing or attempting to elude law enforcement, duty to stop at an accident, reckless driving, failure to maintain lane, failure to drive on the right-hand side of the road and following too closely.

A 31-year-old man accused in a fatal hit-and-run in Folly Beach on Saturday was arrested a few months ago for driving under the influence.
According to court records, on July 9, Andrew Lanzaro was arrested for driving under the influence, narcotics and simple possession of marijuana. He was released on a $26,642 bond.

Court records state Lanzaro was also arrested on July 18 for public drunkenness, and was released.
