Maryland: DUI driver to Wicomico County Sheriff’s Deputy: Go to hell, copper, I ain’t gonna go to jail!

SALISBURY, MD. — Wicomico Sheriff Mike Lewis reports that a deputy had his hands full when he arrested a boozing bozo for DUI.

Police say that on January 3, 2015 at 8:36 PM a deputy stopped a vehicle operated by Miguel Angel Santos-Villalta, 40, of Salisbury, Md., for an equipment violation in the 500 block of S. Salisbury Blvd. Upon making contact with Santos, the deputy detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage. That, along with other indicators suggested that Santos was operating his vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.
