A Gallatin man charged in the death of his 9-year-old stepdaughter in an alcohol-related wreck March 9 has five prior DUI convictions.
Dusty G. McDonald, 33, was driving southbound on Whitson Road near Bethpage with his stepdaughter, Alexis Thompson, in the passenger seat when he failed to negotiate a curve, causing his 1984 Chevy pickup to strike a tree on the passenger side, according to the Tennessee Highway Patrol fatality report.
