DUI driver fled scene of crash and when he returned was held for cops by witness

Memphis police have arrested a man accused of driving drunk and killing a passenger in another car early Sunday morning, officials said.
Jose Lopez, 27, has been charged with vehicular homicide involving intoxication, vehicular assault, DUI, public intoxication, reckless driving and other traffic offenses. He is being held in the Shelby County Jail.
According to police, this incident happened just before 2:30 a.m. at Raleigh-Millington Road and St Elmo in the Raleigh area.
Lopez was behind the wheel of a 1999 Lincoln Navigator, police said, when he veered into oncoming traffic and struck a 2006 Kia that was heading north on Raleigh Millington. ....MORE
