– An 18-year-old man faces a long list of charges, including vehicular homicide, after he hit and killed a father of two Sunday.
Police alleged the man who hit and killed 36-year-old William Marshall smelled like marijuana. An affidavit said he had slurred speech and glassy eyes moments after the crash.
Marshall checked his mailbox just before noon Sunday. Investigators alleged 18-year-old Samer Sakaan was driving under the influence at a high rate of speed.
Sakaan tried to pass a car on a curvy, two-lane Cordova road. He hit the car and drove off Walnut Bend Road. He kept going into the grass and slammed into Marshall. ….MORE
