Tennessee: Tech Police Officer Donald Frazier resigns after DUI arrest; flipped his booze cruise topsy-turvy

PUTNAM COUNTY — 05/27/2014 — A veteran of the Tennessee Tech police force has resigned from the university following his arrest in a DUI crash on Thursday.

Officer Donald Frazier was arrested by Sgt. Tony Branch, of the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office. Branch stated in the incident report that he responded with Deputy Kyle Farley and Deputy Gary Davis, also of the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office, in reference to a wreck. A lady on the scene told them she did not see the crash, but saw a male subject throwing beer cans from the vehicle into the ditch, according to the report.

Branch wrote in his report, “I then observed a tan sedan on its top on the right side of the roadway. I then saw the driver of the vehicle who was later identified as Donald Frazier.”

Frazier had blood coming from cuts to his let arm and the left side of his face, according to the report. Branch also put in his report ….MORE
