Tennessee: Titan QB turns down sweet deal on DWI charge; was driving his pregnant wife when busted

From The New York Post:
Tennessee Titans quarterback Christopher Simms this morning turned down a one-time-only, no-jail offer on his West Village tokin’-and-driving arrest.Prosecutors offered the handsome blonde player a hand-slap deal of a $500 fine, five-days community service, a 90-day suspension of his driver’s license and mandatory attendance in a DWI program. But defense lawyer Kim Richman declined the offer on Simms’ behalf. Neither he nor Simms would tell reporters why — though a drug conviction could cause Simms trouble on the gridiron.  MORE
