Texas: Larry William Demers’ booze cruise into bulldozer leaves his wife and three boys dead

A San Antonio woman and three young boys died Monday in one of the worst traffic accidents believed to have involved alcohol in recent years.
Another boy is on life support at University Hospital after the single-car crash.
The driver, Larry William Demers, 35, was booked by proxy at the hospital on three counts of intoxication manslaughter and two counts of intoxication assault in the fatal crash, which occurred around 12:30 a.m. near Five Palms Drive in San Antonio, officials said.
A police spokesman said one of the intoxication assault charges will be upgraded to intoxication manslaughter.
Although police initially released the names of the victims and said all were members of one family – a mother, a father and their four children – officials late Monday asked the media to withhold the names because they were unsure of the victims’ identities.
“Due to the lack of cooperation of the suspect, we are still attempting to confirm identifications,” a police statement read.
