Texas: man killed motorcylist in 2009, now he’s back in the saddle and out to kill again…busted for DWI

A New Caney man who received deferred adjudication for the 2009 hit-and-run death of a Splendora motorcyclist has been arrested for driving while intoxicated.
Jonathan David Porter, 23, is in the Montgomery County Jail on a total of $400,000 in bonds following his DWI arrest in early May in Harris County. Porter’s DWI charge is a misdemeanor and listed as a first offense, according to Harris County District Clerk’s records.
Porter pleaded guilty in December 2009 to the felony charges of criminally negligent homicide and failure to stop and render aid. He left the scene of a fatal wreck that killed Douglas Allen Jr., of Splendora, on March 16, 2009. ….MORE
