Texas: man who rear-ended another vehicle and then died was speeding; alcohol suspected in 2 am crash


HOUSTON WKRX report:  alcohol and speed at play in fatal wreck  on freeway
According to Harris County Sheriff’s Deputy Dan Drake, a crash which took place on the Northwest Freeway, U. S. 290, at 2:03 am on May 22, 2011 was caused by a driver of a pickup truck speeding into the rear of a Chevy Tahoe and then rotating several times before leaving the main lanes of the highway and rolling over several times in a field.
The operator of the pickup truck was identified as Moises Caudillo, who was taken by life flight helicopter to Memorial Hermann Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Police say that the driver of the Tahoe was not injured.
