FORT WORTH — The chief of staff for Fort Worth police Chief Jeff Halstead was arrested on a DWI charge early today in Parker County.
Maj. Paul Henderson, who served as the department’s spokesman before his promotion to Halstead’s chief assistant, was put on “restricted status” during the criminal and administrative investigations, the chief said in a statement.
“I will make immediate changes in his responsibilities to protect the integrity of this process and ensure all projects can continue as planned ensuring our department remains efficient to our citizens,” Halstead said. ….MORE
