SAN DIEGO — Chargers linebacker Antwan Applewhite was arrested early Friday morning on suspicion of driving under the influence, San Diego Police said.
Applewhite was pulled over at 2:23 a.m near Grand Avenue and Gresham Street in Pacific Beach, police said.
The San Diego State alum failed a field sobriety test and was taken to jail for further chemical evaluation. He was booked at approximately 4 a.m. and posted a $2,500 bond roughly six hours later.
