From Burlington Free Press:

The Addison County State’s Attorney’s Office said Friday it will wait for the written report from Vermont State Police on what, if any, charges are filed in the fatal car-bicycle crash in Ferrisburgh on Wednesday.

Deputy State’s Attorney Ashley Hill said after the office receives the police report it will conduct a legal review to determine if probable cause exists to file criminal charges. If so, the case will be forwarded to a judge for consideration, she said.

The bicyclist, Dr. Kenneth Najarian, 60, of Charlotte was killed during the crash on Greenbush Road at about 5:50 p.m. Wednesday, police said. He was a well-known doctor of radiology at the UVM Medical Center.

The night of the crash state police wrote a court citation to Holly Gonyeau, 36, of Ferrisburgh to face a misdemeanor charge of first offense driving while under the influence. She and Najarian were both southbound.
