Vermont: State Police report DUI arrests for Oct. 19, 2015

Vermont State Police report that on October 17th 2015 at approximately 5:00 pm Vermont State Police Trooper Lauren Ronan stopped a 2011 Ford Ranger on US RT 7 in the Town of Dorset.

The vehicle was weaving and crossed over the fog line at least three times.

It was believed that the operator may be impaired.

The State Police identified the operator as Devin Greene, 28, of Essex, Vt.   It was suspected that Greene was operating while under the influence of drugs.  He was screened roadside and taken into custody for suspicion of DUI-drugs.  He was later screened for drug influence by a Drug Recognition Expert. Greene was issued a criminal citation for DUI and released. The Vermont State police are continuing to investigate, additional charges are possible.  He is scheduled to appear in Bennington County Criminal Court on December 14th 2014 at 0815 am.

LOCATION: Route 4 in the Town of Killington

VIOLATION: DUI ACCUSED: Raymond Bostock IV, AGE: 28

CITY, STATE OF RESIDENCE: Rutland, Vermont

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On the above time and date, Troopers from the Vermont State Police Rutland Barracks responded to a single vehicle crash on Route 4 in the Town of Killington.  Upon arrival Troopers located and identified the male operator and sole occupant of the vehicle as Raymond Bostock IV.  During a roadside interview with Bostock several indicators of impairment were observed by Troopers.  Bostock refused to provide a sample of his breath for a preliminary breath test and was subsequently taken into custody for suspicion of driving under the influence.  Bostock was transported to the State Police Barracks in Rutland for processing.  After processing, Bostock was issued a citation to appear in Rutland Superior Court – Criminal Division to answer to the charge of DUI and taken to Marble Valley Regional Correctional Facility.

VEHICLE #1 Red 2001 Subaru Impreza

OPERATOR: Jeff C. Waldron 24, of Whitingham, VT.

Injuries: Cuts and Bruises, DAMAGE TO VEHICLE: TOTALED

HOSPITAL: Refused transport

Vermont State Police report that on 10-18-15 at 2105 hrs. VT State Police were dispatched to the area of 947 Wilmington Cross Road in Whitingham, VT. for a single vehicle crash with possible entrapment and wires down. Upon arrival, State Police learned at approx.  2100 hrs.  Jeff Waldron 24, of Whitingham, VT. was operating a 2001 Subaru Impreza north bound on Wilmington Cross Road and had just passed a car. He then lost control and crashed into a telephone pole and rolled over.

Waldron refused medical treatment. After Field Sobriety exercises, Waldron was arrested for DUI. Waldron was later released with a citation for DUI and will appear in Windham Superior Court Criminal Division on November 3rd 2015.

Wilmington Police, VT State Police, Dover Police, Whitingham Fire Department, Deerfield Valley Rescue, Green Mountain Power and Briggs Towing assisted at the scene.

ACCUSED:  Jacob Reynolds, AGE:  19

CITY, STATE OF RESIDENCE:  Grand Isle, VT

 

On 10/18/2015 at approximately 22:31 hours the Vermont State Police responded to a single motor vehicle crash on Pearl St. in Grand Isle, VT.  The subsequent investigation yielded that the operator, 19 year-old Jacob Reynolds of Grand Isle, VT, was operating his vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and had gone off the road in the area of 52 Pearl St. in Grand Isle.

During the roadside investigation Reynolds provided a preliminary breath sample which showed his BAC to be .166%.

Reynolds was subsequent placed under arrest for DUI and transported to the St. Albans Barracks for processing.  At the conclusion of the processing Reynolds was released with a citation to appear in Franklin County District Court on 11/09/2015 at 1:00 pm to answer the charge of DUI.

ACCUSED: Jesse Cray

AGE: 53

CITY, STATE OF RESIDENCE: West Fairlee, VT

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On October 17th 2015 at approximately 2350 hours Troopers responded to the report of a suspicious vehicle on Old Post Road in Bradford. Troopers responded and located a vehicle parked in the roadway on Old Post Road.

As Troopers approached the vehicle the operator began to drive forward Troopers conducted a motor vehicle stop and spoke with the operator who was identified as Jesse Cray. Cray was found to have a criminally suspended license and was taken into custody for DLS-C and suspicion of DUI. Cray was transported to the Bradford VT State Police Barracks for processing and was later released with a citation to appear in Orange County Superior Court on November 4th 2015 to answer to the charges of DLS-C and DUI #6. PBT refused.

Tracy L. Miller Sweet DUI arrest Vermont State Police 101815

TROOPER John Waitekus of the Vermont State Police reports that on 10-18-15 at 0325 VT State Police were dispatched to a single vehicle crash near #1010 RT 30 in Newfane. Upon arrival, State Police located Tracy L. Miller-Sweet 27, of Athens, VT. State Police found that Miller-Sweet had driven off the road and crashed into several trees at approx. 0245 hrs. while traveling north bound on RT30.

Miller-Sweet was screened for DUI and provided a breath sample road side producing a .165% Breath Alcohol. Miller-Sweet was arrested and later released with a citation to appear in Windham Superior Court Criminal Division on November 3rd for DUI.
