SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: 

On the attached date and time, Vermont State Police initiated a motor vehicle 
stop on a vehicle being operated by Russell(34) for a violation. Subsequent 
investigation revealed that Russell was under the influence of alcohol while 
operating a motor vehicle. Russell agreed to a PBT and blew a BAC of .106 
roadside. Russell was taken into custody and processed for DUI. Russell was 
issued a citation to appear in Caledonia Criminal Court on 7/6/15 to answer to 
the charge of DUI.

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On 6/20/15, at approximately 0032 hours, I conducted a traffic stop due to speeding. The operator of the vehicle was identified as Charles Kearns. While speaking with Kearns, the odor of intoxicants was immediately detected. Kearns performed Field Sobriety Exercises and refused the Preliminary Breath Test. Kearns was subsequently arrested for suspicion of DUI and was transported to Derby where he was processed for the offense.

VIOLATION: DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE (DUI)

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: 
On June 20, 2015, at approximately 22:28 hours, Shaftsbury Troopers stopped a vehicle for multiple moving violations on VT Route 7, near Kocher Drive, in the town of Bennington, VT. Troopers identified the operator as, Adam Volpi, age 50, of Shaftsbury, VT. 

Further investigation led Troopers to suspect that Volpi was operating under the influence of alcohol. After completion of the Standard Field Sobriety Tests, Volpi was taken into custody for suspicion of DUI. Volpi provided a roadside sample of breath which indicated that his BAC was .156%. 

Volpi was then transported to the Shaftsbury Barracks for processing. Volpi was later released with a citation ordering him to appear in the Bennington County Superior Court on July 6, 2015, at 08:15 hours to answer to the above charge.

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: Troopers from the Bradford Barracks responded to Lake Morey Road in Fairlee after receiving a report of an intoxicated male that had just driven away from a disturbance on Lake Morey Road in Fairlee. Troopers were able to identify the male subject as Thomas Keeler of Fairlee, who had a warrant ($10,000) for his arrest for Aggravated Domestic Assault. Keeler was located at his residence a short time later and arrested for DUI#2, Violation of Conditions of Release, Driving on a Suspended License and the aforementioned warrant. He refused a PBT. He was processed at the Bradford Barracks and flash cited to appear in Orange County Court on 06/24/15. He was lodged on the arrest warrant at the Northeast Regional Correctional Center in St. Johnsbury.

SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: 

On 05-19-2015 at approximately 0047 hours the Vermont State Police stopped Brandon M. Wong (19) of Eagle Bridge, NY for a motor vehicle violation on US RTE 7, located in the Town of Pownal. Upon making contact with Wong, it was discovered that he was under the influence of alcohol. Wong refused to provide a preliminary breath test and was arrested for suspicion of Driving Under the Influence. Wong was processed for DUI and released on a criminal citation to appear in Bennington Superior Court-Criminal Division on 07-06-2015 to answer the charge of DUI #1.

SUMMARY OF CRASH: 

Vermont State Police responded to a single vehicle crash on Vermont Route 100 in Readsboro. Upon arrival and after a brief investigation, it was determined Jason Reppart was driving the above truck north on VT Route 100. The truck went off the roadway and overturned, causing the above described damage. It was suspected that Jason Reppart was operating while under the influence of drugs, and screened for drug influence at the Vermont State Police Shaftsbury office. Reppart provided a blood sample, the analysis of which is pending.
