Vermont: Tonya Salomaa took her half out of the embankment; her bad breath got her a DUI

Tonya the towtrucks best friendState Police responded to a report of a one vehicle crash on Vermont Route 25 in Bradford. Investigation revealed a 1995 Jeep Wrangler driven by Tonya Salomaa went off the roadway and struck and embankment.

Salomaa then drove the vehicle to a nearby residence where she was contacted by Troopers. Salomaa was found to be intoxicated and taken into custody for suspicion of DUI. She provided a Preliminary Breath Test of .141%.

She was processed for DUI at the Bradford Barracks where she refused to provide an evidentiary breath sample. She was released on a citation to appear in Orange County Court on 01/21/15. She was also issued a traffic ticket for failing to maintain her lane of travel as well as not wearing a seat belt.
