VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) – The high school driver involved in a drunk driving crash last week in Virginia Beach faced a previous illegal possession of alcohol charge.
Police charged Carter Womick with DUI and illegal possession of alcohol in the June 16 crash on Revere Drive in Salem Woods. His passenger, 15-year-old Meaghan Gerety, remains in critical condition. 10 On Your Side discovered Womick faced a judge nine days prior for a similar charge.  …..MORE
