Driving under the Influence | Injured Officer – On October 21st at 9:51PM, a Prince William County police officer was directing traffic in the area of Horner
Rd and Occoquan Rd in Woodbridge (22191) related to the fatal crash on Jefferson Davis Hwy. As the officer was controlling the intersection, a driver of a vehicle, identified as the accused, proceeded through the intersection and clipped the officer. The accused remained at the scene and was determined to be under the influence of alcohol. Following the investigation, the accused was subsequently arrested. The officer was transported to an area hospital where he was treated and released.

Jose Osmin LIZAMA, 45, of 8160 Gilroy Rd in Lorton
Charged with driving under the influence and unreasonable refusal
