Randall “Randy” Fisher joined the Augusta County Sheriff’s Office in 1972 as a jail officer. He worked his way through the ranks as a Patrol Deputy, Investigator, Lieutenant, and Captain. Randy was appointed interim Sheriff in 1998 after the untimely death of Sheriff Glenn P. Lloyd, who had held the office for almost 14 years. Randy was elected as Sheriff in a special election in 1998, and ran unopposed in the regular election in 1999. Randy resides near the village of Crimora with his wife Elizabeth.
