VIRGINIA: Onyx Harmon charged with DUI, hit and run when she killed Paul Stone in a crash on Tidewater Drive and fled like a coward

NORFOLK, Va. –  Norfolk Police report that they have identified the man killed in a crash Monday night, November 9, 2020, as 51-year-old Paul F. Stone.

Police say that on November 9th, around 9:20 p.m. police responded to the 3200 block of Tidewater Drive, at the intersection of Lafayette Boulevard, for the report of a vehicle accident with injuries.  The preliminary investigation revealed that Stone was a passenger in a Toyota Avalon, the driver of the Toyota had been making a turn onto Lafayette Boulevard from Tidewater Drive when they were hit by a Chrysler van. Stone was pronounced deceased on scene, the driver of the Toyota Avalon was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.    The driver of the Chrysler van was identified as Onyx J. Harmon, 27, of Norfolk. Harmon left the scene of the accident on foot; however, returned and was arrested and charged with driving a motor vehicle while intoxicated, refusal of a breath or blood test, and hit and run.
