VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – A Virginia Beach man is behind bars after officers say he was driving drunk when he hit a police cruiser Sunday night.
According to Grazia Moyers with the Virginia Beach Police Department, dispatchers received a call from a person reporting a vehicle driving recklessly toward Princess Anne Road from the Interstate 264 and Independence Boulevard area at 9:30 p.m.
“The caller observed numerous traffic violations (speeding, disregarding traffic signals, etc) by the suspect driver and kept the dispatcher updated with the direction of travel and the violations,” Moyers said in a release.  ….MORE
