UPDATE Troopers have identified one of the passengers killed as 20-year-old Taylor Jean Parkins.  The second passenger killed in Saturday’s early morning crash has been identified as 21-year-old Raymond Maximillian Madrid of Spokane Valley.

WASHINGTON STATE PATROL — 07/02/2017 — Police say that Eddy Grant’s DUI cruise on July 1, 2017, at 2:57 have resulted in his two passengers being burned to death in a horrific fire, while Grant was simply injured.

According to Washington State Police Trooper S. Senger, Eddy Nathanial Grant, 21, of Spokane Valley, was operating a 2002 Toyota Sienna on State Route 27 three miles south of Spokane Valley in Spokane County, Washington, when his vehicle failed to negotiate a curve and flew into several trees and ignited a gruesome fire.

Grant is being charged with two counts of vehicular homicide in the wreck that police report was involved with drugs and or alcohol.

Police say that when the Toyota left the roadway and struck several trees, it came to rest on the right side before bursting into flames.
