TACOMA, Wash. — The uncle of a 9-year-old boy who died after a suspected drunk driving crash was booked into the Pierce County Jail on Monday on charges of vehicular homicide.
Donovan Best died Sunday night after he was taken off life support, the boy’s family said.
The boy had been on life support since he was injured in the single-car crash on State Route 16 in Pierce County early Saturday.
Best’s uncle, Jayce Randall, was driving, and according to the State Patrol, he had been drinking and smoking marijuana. …MORE
