State Patrol reports Jordan Selby charged with DUI vehicular assault; his passenger Brittany Reid in hospital after crash

Washington State Patrol reports that Trooper J. Bacheller investigated a crash that took place on Jan. 20, 2018 and resulted in the driver of the 2013 Ford pickup that was southbound on the I-5 Interstate bridge in the City of Vancouver at 2:35 pm.  Police say that the Ford was in the left lane and struck the inside barrier and crossed three lanes and collided with the outside barrier. The truck came to rest blocking the right lane.

The driver was identified as Jordan T. Selby, 28, of Vancouver, Washington and was reportedly uninjured. The truck was totaled and the passenger, Brittany N. Reid, 28, of Happy Valley, Oregon, wasn’t better off and was taken to Emmanuel Hospital in Portland for treatment.

Police report that Selby is being charged with DUI vehicular assault.
