Maryland: Prince George’s Police Officer Chris Brown Busted for Wrecking Cruiser – his 2nd DUI
In 2012, the same officer was involved in another crash in his cruiser while under the influence in Oxon Hill. Prince George’s County Police arrested the officer following that crash. He pleaded guilty to those charges. He was also disciplined administratively.
Maryland: Charles County Sheriff Detective Jack Austin charged with DUI after wrecking his cruiser on bike path
The driver was located and appeared to be under the influence of alcohol. It was also learned at this time that the driver was an off-duty Charles County Sheriff Deputy and the vehicle was his issued unmarked cruiser.
New York: New Rochelle Police Officer Harry Kyreakedes charged with DWI vehicular manslaughter; killed Isaac Ward
Police said it appeared that Kyreakedes was driving toward downtown White Plains when he crashed into the tree just outside CVS between Rutherford and Livingston avenues.
