ARNOLD, MD. Another boozing driver on Maryland roadways blew a red light on Rt. 2 at College Parkway and in addition to ending his own life, caused an innocent victim to die as well.

Police say Victor Mendoza, 25, was driving northbound along Bloomfield Road when he crashed into a van heading westbound on KY-150. The van then crashed into another car.

The driver of the Honda, Jose Contreras, age 26 from Palm Desert , was found to be driving his vehicle while under the influence of an alcoholic beverage. Jose Contreras was not injured as a result of the collision. Jose Contreras was later booked into Riverside County Jail in the city of Indio for driving while under the influence of an alcoholic beverage.

California: Sandor Marroquin charged with DUI for killing Jayden Marroquin, 7, Wilmer Bernal, 26, and Jenty Diaz

The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Coroner department identified the three victims as Jayden Marroquin, 7, Wilmer Bernal, 26, and Jenty Diaz, 26, all of Los Angeles. They were passengers in the Camry, which collided head-on with a Dodge Avenger. Camara could not provide the boy’s relation to the driver.

Maryland: State Police report DUI DWI drivers wrecking, crashing and burning

The barrack received a call for a two vehicle crash where the at-fault vehicle left the scene. Troopers responded to a vehicle stopped on the right shoulder with the suspected impaired driver seated in the driver’s seat. The victim in the hit and run was able to identify the vehicle. The driver was arrested.

Oregon: State Police report that Randall & Barbara Starr were hit head-on by DUI-drugged driver Scott Cook

According to Trooper Tiffany Lynn, on April 24, 2015 at 9:48am a two vehicle serious injury crash occurred on SR HWY 226 near Milepost (MP) 8.5 (near Scio). Unit #1, a 1995 Honda Accord, driven by Scott Cook was eastbound on Hwy 226 when it crossed the centerline and collided with Unit #2 a westbound Itasca Sunriver Motorhome. Unit #2 was driven by Mr. Randall Starr (age 76) with his wife, Mrs. Barbara Starr (age 77) as the right front passenger. Both Mr. Cook and the Starrs are residents of Scio.
